Introduction to DeFi - Step by step guide

In this article, we will explain how to Download MetaMask and install it in your Chrome, how to send funds from your Binance account to your MetaMask wallet, and some key tips to keep safe while navigating through DeFi.
How to download and install MetaMask?
First of all, you need to enter https://metamask.io/download/ and click on the Download button.
After that, you need to click on the “Install MetaMask for Chrome” button, which will redirect you to a Chrome website, where you’ll click the “Add to Chrome” button and continue with the setup.
Clicking there will lead you to a few steps to accept and finally get the following page to Get Started.
Now is where things get interesting and you’ll actually start setting up your own MetaMask wallet. The right option is the way to go, clicking the “Create a Wallet” button.
After that, a list of information will appear for you to Agree to the terms. And after moving on from that point, you’ll need to Create your password, as shown above.
A short video will appear after this step, which we strongly recommend you watch. Finally, you’ll get your Secret Recovery Phrase (commonly known as “Seed Phrase”)
That’s it! Your wallet is ready to use.
What’s next?
Now you have to add Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask and send funds from your Binance account to your wallet. This is even easier!
- Click in the top right of your wallet and then go to Settings.
2. After that, click on Networks on the bottom left. And then click on Add a network on the top right.
3. This will open a page with blanks to complete and finish the operation:

Network name: Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
Almost finish - Last step!
Now You have your wallet ready and connected to the Binance Smart Chain. You just have to copy your wallet address from MetaMask and send funds from your Binance account to start operating.
Where is your wallet address? Click on the wallet code in the top middle of the wallet to copy your wallet address.
Important tip → Send some BNB first for gas fee. Every transaction takes a little gas fee (around 0.001 BNB), so you’ll need some to move around the DeFi ecosystem.
